The Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky have a student exchange program. In 2007-2008 I was a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at SSE Riga and lived in Riga, Latvia for six months. I returned for three weeks in late spring 2010. In October and November, 2014 I returned to teach an elective course in Benefit-Cost Analysis of Environmental and Health Policy.

SSE Riga courses are taught as modules of varying lengths of time. In 2007 I taught Health and Public Economics to third year students. We met five days per week for bit less that a month. In October and November, 2014 I taught an elective course: Benefit-Cost Analysis in Environment and Health. We met twice per week for 105 minutes each class for five weeks. All classes are taught in English. Click for an overview of the exchange program at SSE Riga. Students from the University of Kentucky typically go during the spring semester (January-June).
